Is all this EXPENSIVE?

If you have high numbers in all 5 areas, your minimum startup cost for supplements would be about: $148 USD
and then if you are a sensitive person, you’ll need a scale and empty capsules around $40 USD.

Depending on your dosage, this initial supply could last you 1-6 months!

My basic supplement cost is under $35 USD per month.

…$35/month for feeling good = cheap!

 .

Which brand?

I would suggest you stick with name brands such as:  NOW, Jarrow, Doctor’s Best, Thorne and Natrol brands.

The problem with some generic brands is the kinds of fillers they add in.  The name brands are generally more careful and use more expensive but safer fillers.   If you have a negative reaction to an amino acid… it’s likely NOT the amino acid, but the FILLER they added.

What store?

Many larger health food stores or supplements stores may carry some of the more common amino acids… but few stores carry all the supplements I suggest for this program.

For this reason, online retailers like: Amazon.com or iHerb.com could be a better choice.

If you are in America, Amazon.com is very handy. But Amazon won’t ship supplements outside of the USA for some reason, they often don’t have products in stock and their shipping can be slow unless you use prime.

Yet iHerb.com (also in USA) ships globally and quickly!   I’ve been VERY happy with iHerb.com and can recommend them whole-heartedly.

Use my iHerb Coupon code when checking out:
JAD0195 and get a 5% discount!

Another reason I feel good about iHerb is they often SHIP THE SAME DAY! (sometimes within hours of placing an order!)
…Amazon can take 2-5 days before they ship :(

Throughout these pages, I’ve given you links to any products that I discuss so you can find them easier.  They look like this:

But as always, USE YOUR INTUITION and ASK YOUR BODY which supplement is right for YOU!!
Use muscle testing or check using your internal “heavier & lighter” indicators!
If you are prone to internal interference, follow my recommendations below instead, they come from years of experience with many clients.

Getting the correct dose for your body is critical!

Amino Acids come packaged in “standard dosages” that for some people can be 5 times too much, or 3 times too little!  As a result, you need to find the dose that is right for YOUR specific body!

Example from my lifeL-Tyrosine comes in 500mg capsules.  My ideal dose is 80mg. If I take even 100mg, I start to get sleepy rather than energized.

Getting the dosage right is the most critical element of this entire process,
and a key focus in my ebook & video program:

END Cravings, Low energy, Funky Moods! Everything you need to SUCCEED at Amino Acid Therapy

This is highly important for people who are sensitive or aware, if you take too much of an amino acid, it generally has the OPPOSITE EFFECT you are looking for. Taking too much will heighten your symptoms and make them seem worse  :(

(This ebook gives you everything you need to find the exact dose your body requires!  Both in written instructions and video demonstrations.)

Ideal dose of  L-Tyrosine  =  Energized     ⟷    TOO MUCH = sleepy, drowsy

Ideal dose of L-Tryptophan = Easy going  ⟷   TOO MUCH = jittery or anxious

Ideal dose of  Alpha GPC  =  Clear head       TOO MUCH = headache

90% of the people who don’t succeed with Amino Acids fail because they don’t find the right dose… and they don’t even know it.  They think there is something wrong with them or the supplement :(   When it’s often just the wrong dose.

If you are a regular person, with a regular life, you will likely be able to just take the whole capsule (which is much easier) and your body will only use what it needs.  In this case, the ebook is not as necessary.

If you know you are sensitive to other medications, are very aware, or highly interfered with, then I suggest you start with a low dose and work your way up as described in the ebook.

A big part of what I show you is exactly how to find the right dosage for YOUR body.  Accuracy is important.  (I’ll show you how to make it easy.)

Getting a Scale & Empty Capsules

If you are sensitive you will NEED a milligram (jeweler’s) scale to measure the powders.

**Note: all milligram scales are capable of small defects.
If you find your scale behaves erratically, return it for replacement, get a working one.

You will likely only use a fraction of what is in the capsules, so you will need to buy empty capsules to pour the correct doses into. Because you don’t know your doses yet, I suggest you start with the #1size empty capsules.  You can likely fit everything you’ll need into one of them.

Supplements for Boosting Dopamine:

This only works for people who have LOW energy!
If you typically have HIGH energy, this won’t benefit you. Look into the Walsh-Pfeiffer method instead.

There are 2 primary things you NEED to increase Dopamine:

The main one: L-Tyrosine is an amino acid used to make the catecholamine neurotransmitters: dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. This activates about 80% of the energy circuits…
It comes in 2 forms, I suggest you get the: N-Acetyl-Tyrosine form, it also helps brain regeneration.

N-Acytyl-Tyrosine (NALT)

https://amzn.to/2xjxL6p

http://bit.ly/iherb-nalt2KHu2Zd

This is a highly stimulating amino… avoid taking too close to bedtime. Best to stop 6-8 hours before bedtime.
Having some time-release Melatonin on hand is useful if you find yourself too stimulated to sleep.

-AND-

The second you need is: L-Phenylalanine (LPA) which is also an amino acid that the body can use to create Catecholamines. It feels a little different in the body than Tyrosine and activates the other 20% of the energy circuits…

L-Phenylalanine (LPA)

https://amzn.to/2oZANss

http://bit.ly/iherb-lpa-2NGtbZI

This is a highly stimulating amino… avoid taking too close to bedtime. Take last dose 6-8 hours before bedtime.

You need BOTH items above as your MAIN supplements for balancing Dopamine.

If you desire even more, you can consider adding:

Rhodiola Rosea Root is an adaptogenic herb that improves energy, supports brain functioning, and is stress-reducing.

Rhodiola:

Also Suggested:

Some form of quality Multi-Vitamin & Mineral  – Amino acids require a variety of vitamins and minerals in order to be processed correctly. (True Balance is one that Julia Ross recommends)

True Balance:

https://amzn.to/2x3gxJW

http://bit.ly/iherb-TruBal2O90L7J

Your body NEEDS enough iron, niacin, folate, and vitamin B6, B9, B12, and Magnesium in order to make dopamine. Whatever multi-vitamin you get, make sure it has these in similar dosages.  Avoid vitamins with “Folic Acid” as it can trigger other problems (supplements with “Quatrefolic®” are ideal.)

Melatonin (Time Release formula) – to have in case you find yourself too energized to sleep. This will help you get to sleep naturally.

Supplements for Boosting Serotonin
:

DO NOT TAKE these amino acids if you are:

Taking any MAO inhibitor based antidepressants (SSRI’s) or antipsychotics  Talk to your doctor FIRST.   Taking L-Tryptophan or 5-HTP could create serotonin syndrome.

This amino only works for people who have LOW energy!   If you typically have HIGH energy, this likely won’t benefit you. Look into the Walsh-Pfeiffer method instead.

The best option for most boosting Serotonin is: L-Tryptophan – is an essential amino acid that the body cannot make, but extracts from the protein you eat. The body then converts it to serotonin and melatonin if you have enough vitamin B6.

Jarrow
L-Tryptophan:

or find “Tryptopure” such as…

Doctor’s Best
L-Tryptophan:

http://bit.ly/iherb-Tryp2NH1pfE

For many people this amino is fine to take day or night and is highly effective for aiding sleep!

This is your MAIN supplement for balancing Serotonin.

Secondary options:

Lithium Orotate Drops helps prevent mood swings, is anti-anxiety and antidepressant, promotes neurogenesis, protects from neurodegenerative disease, and is thought to be anti-aging.  I use this occasionally if things get funky for some unexplained reason.  This seems to balance things out for my body.

ASK YOUR DOCTOR FIRST

If you are currently taking anti-depression medications, anti-psychotics, or MAIO inhibitors, you should consult with your doctor BEFORE taking serotonin amino acids.  While they could be useful and even allow you to reduce or eliminate your current medications, the process has to be done in a coordinated way as not to induce “Serotonin Syndrome” (and over-supply of Serotonin). If your doctor won’t do this for you… find a Naturopathic Doctor or another doctor who specialized in reducing meds in favor of more natural solutions.

Supplements for Boosting GABA:

There are several choices available for producing more GABA, I find this is the best overall:

GABA Soothe is a blend of a variety of things that boost GABA.  This is the “best of” the many I’ve explored.

I recommend “GABA Soothe” because it has all the most effective products I’ve found, blended into 1 product:

Gaba Soothe

https://amzn.to/313vgTx

http://bit.ly/iherb-gabaSoothe2WgCrZI

-OR-

PharmaGABA  is a very high-quality version of: Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA). It’s lab synthesized to be similar to what your body naturally produces. This is a great product! (this is already in Gaba Soothe above)

PharmaGABA

https://amzn.to/3cLA4F9

http://bit.ly/phgaba3yEoC71

I’ve tried a few other GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid) products besides this one and honestly, they are close to useless. Get PharmaGaba.

-OR-

L-Theanine is a naturally occurring and less expensive amino acid that is extracted from green tea leaves. Some people find this effective, others less so.

http://bit.ly/iherb-TruBal2O90L7J

Your body NEEDS enough Zinc, B6 and Magnesium in order to make GABA. Whatever multi-vitamin you get, make sure it has these in similar dosages.

USE CAUTION/TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR if you: -take GABA targeted medications (Ex: Neurontin (gabapentin), Benzodiazepines like Klonapin, Ativan, Xanax or Valium) It can cause TOO MUCH sedation.

-have naturally low blood pressure (under 105/65)* -are on blood pressure-lowering medication *These aminos can further lower your blood pressure!

If you DO have low blood pressure and want to try out GABA, get “GABA True Calm” it contains Tyrosine which can help to increase blood pressure slightly.   If you take too much GABA you may feel light-headed, a sign your blood pressure is too low.

Supplements for Boosting Acetylcholine:

There are two choices available for producing more Acetylcholine:

CDP Choline/Citicoline (cytidine diphosphate) is a choline-supporting supplement best known for its ability to enhance memory and protect the brain against memory loss. But an improved memory is only part of the CDP choline picture; it can also heighten focus, increase mental energy, and provide better clarity of thought.  This substance is also used to affect age-related memory issues. (Jaden uses this daily)

CDP Choline:

If you are having any form of memory issues I would suggest taking CDP Choline/Citicoline above!

Alpha-GPC (Alpha-glycerophosphocholine) does similar to above and is often recommended for Alzheimer’s patients.

Alpha-GPC:

Here are some other things research has proven to be effective for restoring brain function:

Lion’s Mane Mushroom – is an edible mushroom native to parts of Asia, North America, and Europe. Its compounds encourage the formation of nerve growth factor (NGF), a protein that acts like a super fertilizer for your neurons. It not only heals and protects your nerve cells, but it also stimulates the growth of new ones in both the brain and the nervous system. Lion’s Mane Is a Natural Antidepressant and anti-inflammatory that also is a proven antidepressant. It has been found beneficial for treating cancer, diabetes, heart disease, gastric ulcers, and diseases of the kidney and liver.   Jaden strongly suggests you consider this!   (Jaden uses this daily)

   Lion’s Mane:              https://amzn.to/2RGuMxY          http://bit.ly/iherb-lions-mane2OlMcC3

Vitamin B12 (Methyl) – The brain requires B12 in order for the brain to do much of what it has to do.   At minimum, take a Methylated (more dissolvable in the bloodstream) version of B12 in the form of methylcobalamin or other Methyl versions. (Jaden uses this most often)

Vit B12 (Methyl):

https://amzn.to/2QFbec2

http://bit.ly/iherb-B12-2pQ9Nw4

         or:

Active Vit. B Complex – plays a vital role in the function of the brain, health of the nervous system and energy. Specifically, it is required for neurological function, DNA synthesis, and proper red blood cell formation. However, due to it being a water-soluble, meaning it is not capable being stored in the body for long periods of time, it must be constantly replenished to keep up cognitive performance.

                   Vit B Complex:           https://amzn.to/2CHJLkB           http://bit.ly/iherb-Bcomplx2Dyn7wO

Uridine Monophosphate (UMP) is one of the building blocks for Ribonucleic Acid and increases dopamine, serotonin, GABA & choline, it also works to support brain regeneration, signaling & neurogenesis. (Jaden also uses this on occasion)

Uridine:

https://amzn.to/2QpdlS4

http://bit.ly/iherb-uridine2x5By7U

If you have a LOT of brain symptoms, I suggest the get the ebook, I have an extensive list of highly researched and effective supplements for rehabilitating memory and brain function.  You really CAN reverse memory problems!

Also Suggested:

Some form of quality Multi-Vitamin & Mineral  – The brain requires a variety of vitamins and minerals in order to do its job.

True Balance:

https://amzn.to/2x3gxJW

http://bit.ly/iherb-TruBal2O90L7J

USE CAUTION/TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR if you take: -Scopolamine (Transderm Scop) – Scopolamine blocks the acetylcholine that these supplements are seeking to create more of!

Supplements for Boosting Endorphins:

**WAIT WITH TAKING THIS**!! until you have the above amino acids working at the optimal dose to find relief from the above symptoms.
This area often resolves itself once you have the above areas handled.  It’s like these issues just go away!

If you have the previous 4 working effectively and this area still feels like an issue, then explore with the following:

For producing more Endorphins:

DPA (D-phenylalanine) is a synthetic amino acid supplement that an inverse formula of the L-Phenylalanine (used for dopamine).  However, many people find this to make their symptoms worse, not better.  So it’s not for everyone.  Try this only if the above items have not completely handled your symptoms.

D-Phenylalanine:

https://amzn.to/2x82Ycu

http://bit.ly/iherb-dpa2MpM0Mp

Some people find that this product makes them feel funky at any dose.

It’s about finding what works for YOU.

TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR before using DPA (D-Phenylalanine) if you have: – Hyperthyroidism (Grave’s Disease) – Melanoma – Manic Tendencies

USE CAUTION with DLPA (D-Phenylalanine) if you have: – High blood pressure – Headaches/Migraines – Hashimoto’s Autoimmune Thyroiditis   START AT A LOW DOSE AND MONITOR CAREFULLY!

USE CAUTION with DLPA (D-Phenylalanine) if: dl-Phenylalanine is contraindicated for people with phenylketonuria and during pregnancy. People with high blood pressure should take DLPA only after meals. Some people become overly excited or jittery after taking DLPA. However, ingestion on a full stomach seems to overcome this.
