For me, it can get really easy to get caught in a “What needs to be cleared?” mode and not focus on anything else.
How can I tell when I’ve done this?
When every where I turn there is something to clear! All I can see are all the things that are NOT clear yet!
It becomes work, not play. I get bogged down and stressed out and life isn’t so much fun anymore.
Ooops!
==> Where have you gotten bogged down with looking at what needs changing?
==> Where is your focus on looking for what’s not right in your life, creating more of What’s not right showing up?
That was a wake up call for me… when I realized that my focus on looking for “what needs to change” was actually creating MORE of what needs to be changed. (What you put your attention on you can create more of…)
So by hyper focusing on what’s broken, you can find (or create?) more of what’s broken.
Hmmm… ok… I’m cute :)
What to do when the ease and fun is gone?
Well, you can do more clearing around it… LOL :)
or…
You can start asking & receiving more ease and fun!
How often do you stop and ask questions like,
“What EASE, SIMPLICITY, FUN and DELIGHT is now possible for my life?”
I found that “joy” and “glory” just didn’t do much for me. So after I let go of making myself wrong for that, I just found words that really worked to light ME up!
And for me, “simplicity“, “fun” and especially “delight” were three words that both helped me to feel more balanced and reminded me of a frequency that is REALLY core to who I personally be, “DE-LIGHT!”
But it’s easy to get caught in some structure of “the way” to do things and miss the bigger point.
==> Are you ASKING the Universe for what you prefer?
Investing some time to stand in what you would LIKE to create!?
And then actually deliberately RECEIVING the energetic response the Universe sends you back, instantly!?
==> Are you stopping to immediately RECEIVE the affirmative response from the Universe?
Not looking to receive the “answer” in your head (which actually blocks receiving) but sensing the flow of energy in your body as the Universe immediately responds to your question (as a flow of energy in your body.)
Doing this step… is the secret to really knowing you are connected and a creator. (but Shhhh! don’t tell anyone! :)
But I DO enjoy clearing… how do I keep a balance?
There are a couple things I’ve come to do that creates more flow for me
1. When I clear, I also invite in more of what I prefer.
So I might do a clearing on my nose being stuffy.
And I follow it up with a question to create more of what I prefer.
I love Gary Douglas’ “What energy, space & consciousness can my body and I be…” for this purpose. I use it like this:
“What ES&C can my body and I be to have easy air flow though open nasal passages?”
Then I pause and deliberately receive the energetic response the Universe is sending me to that question, right here, right now.
By following clearing with questions to invite what I prefer, I’m creating more of the things I desire… and not just more things to clear! :)
2. I play audios on a loop that invite me into more of what I prefer.
The other gift I give myself is a recording that I play any time life becomes less fun and less delightful. It’s a recording not of clearings… but of INVITATIONS!
It’s an mp3 that I recorded for myself that I’ll keep looping quietly on my iphone that invites me into more of what I prefer. Questions like:
==> What breakthroughs with a life of ease, simplicity, fun and delight are now possible?
==> What BIG questions can I ask to actualize a life of ease, simplicity, fun and delight ?
==> What miracles with a life of ease, simplicity, fun and delight are now possible?
Just playing that loop 24/7 give me a feeling of upliftment in everything I do.
